Takasugi to Meet with Growers About Potato Cyst Nematode
Meeting to discuss specifics of the recently unveiled regulatory plan

BLACKFOOT, Idaho — Idaho State Director of Agriculture, Pat Takasugi, will be in eastern Idaho Tuesday, September 5, 2006, to meet with growers concerning the federal and state regulatory plans which were recently unveiled to prevent the spread of potato cyst nematode.
The purpose of the meeting is to give growers an opportunity to ask questions, and get first-hand information on how the regulatory plans will impact their farms.
Takasugi will also be requesting growers' feedback. Concerns and priorities will be passed on to elected officials.
